Mortise and Tenon Porch Kit
Featuring 8×8 rough sawn hemlock mortise and tenon construction with hemlock flooring, this timber frame porch kit is perfect for adding an outdoor section to our Vermont Cabin, Two Bay Garage and 20-foot wide Sugar Shack designs. Available in a wide variety of sizes.
This DIY wooden porch kit includes everything you need to add a covered porch with floor decking to your Vermont Cabin or 2 Car Garage. 8x8 rough sawn hemlock mortise and tenon wall framing with angle braces, hemlock rafters, corrugated metal roof, and aluminum flashing are included as well as assembly instructions. Many Jamaica Cottage Shop buildings come with a porch, but not all do. Adding a porch is a wonderful way to incorporate useable outdoor lounging space with your cottage, garage, or cabin. All buildings can be enhanced by adding a solid post and beam porch. Set up some chairs or a hammock along the porch to enjoy the warm sunny days right from the comfort of your backyard. A large porch adds a welcome aesthetic to many building models.
