Description

A traditional New England design, the sugar shack is still used today to boil maple syrup. This 8×12 shed plan design comes standard for a non-working sugar shack. Meaning the cupola is strictly decorative. If you would like a functional sugar shack you can upgrade to a venting cupola which has opening sides where the steam escapes. In the springtime a large cloud of smoke and steam can be seen rising high above a sugar shack.  Whether you intend to use the workshop building plans to create a working Sugar Shack or a storage space, the Sugar Shack design is an asset to any landscape.
