The porch kit for the Simple Garage includes everything you need to add an extra room to your post and beam building. Featuring 6x6 beams and box beam construction, this space is perfect for use as covered storage, a place to relax or as an outdoor workspace. Consider purchasing two porch kits to install on opposite walls.

Style Your Porch

Possible floor upgrades include pressure treated floor framing and decking as well as 3/4″ CDX plywood decking or 2″ pine tongue & groove decking. Also, choose a different roof color or select from these other roofing types: asphalt architectural/3-tab shingles, ClearPoly, or western red cedar shingles/shakes.

Other Important Info

The roof pitch of the Porch Kit is 3/12. Reference your buildings specifications wall height and the roof pitch to determine if the outer wall height will work. Keep in mind where you will be placing doors and what the swing will be.

This porch kit has been designed for installation on the bearing wall of our Simple Garage with it’s 6×6 post and beam frame. If purchasing to install on another building we recommend working with an experienced builder.
