Featuring 6x6 beams and box beam construction, this space is perfect for use as a workshop, home office, or storage space for tools or other items that you would like to stow away. Adding a room to a garage is an excellent way to create private space that is separated from your home. Consider purchasing two overhang kits to install on opposite walls.

Style Your Enclosed Porch

Possible floor upgrades include pressure treated floor framing and decking as well as 3/4" CDX plywood decking or 2" pine tongue & groove decking. Siding choices consist of a variety of pine and cedar options. Pine siding selections include shiplap, clapboard, log cabin style, novelty, and adirondack live-edge. Cedar siding varieties include western red cedar clapboard, western red cedar shingles, western red cedar shakes or white cedar shingles. Also, choose a different roof color or select from these other roofing types: asphalt architectural/3-tab shingles, ClearPoly, or western red cedar shingles/shakes.

The roof pitch of the enclosed porch kit is 3/12. Reference your buildings specifications wall height and the roof pitch to determine if the outer wall height will work. Keep in mind where you will be placing doors and what the swing will be.
