Eye-catching, whimsical, and unique are a few of the words that describe our post and beam Writer’s Haven cabin design. The flying-v porch with single porch post stands out from other cabins. This set of diy cabin plans may be purchased in 12×14 and 12×18 sizes. The 12×14 tiny house plans also include directions for installing a built-in desk, a day bed and a peg rack. The 12×18 cottage has a no-frills, open interior so your imagination can run wild.
When this little cabin was designed, we had authors, poets, and artists in mind. He understood how valuable it is for creative people to have a place of solitude where they can work on their craft in privacy. The pine day bed in the smallest cabin serves as a place for meditation, thinking and rest. While artistry was what inspired this design, many other uses have been utilized in this tiny cottage. Some use it as a garden home office, yoga studio, or prefab she shed. Others have found this space to be perfect as a little gift shop, vending booth for fruits, veggies and flowers, or a ticket box office.
When you purchase this set of Writer’s cabin plans you will receive a booklet that contains a shopping list for purchasing your own lumber locally. A color-coded cut lists tells you how to chop each piece of wood and corresponds with the exploded view diagram and the illustrations that are laid out next to each step of written instruction. You also receive traceable rafter templates so you can get all the angles for your roof framing right.
