Are you in need of a cozy home for your garbage? Then embark on a DIY project and build that tiny garbage house yourself by using our Assembly Plans. Just the right size for two 55 gallon garbage cans, this Garbage Bin shed could also hold a few miscellaneous tools. As bear proof as you are going to get, the Garbage Bin is of the same caliber as the larger buildings with solid doors, full door stops and heavy duty hardware keeping the pesky varmints away from the vittles in your barrels.
Rugged post and beam techniques, passed down through the centuries, are used to construct this sturdy picturesque garbage holder, reminiscent of old New England. Have your own piece of Vermont in the woods by getting the Garbage Bin Plans from Jamaica Cottage Shop!
This set of plans will be a detailed step by step guide on how to build your dream Garbage Bin shed.
Starting with site prep, which is recommended on a crushed gravel pad, you will get everything you need for this project. A materials list with what tools, hardware, lumber, siding and roofing will be supplied along with a cut list for every piece. Take this cut list to your local lumber yard and get everything cut to size, or you can buy rough lengths and do the cutting yourself.
You will begin the structure with the floor framing (a very good place to start) and work your way up the building by adding the flooring next, then wall framing and roof rafters. Next comes the siding, and roofing material. Be sure to add the fascia and shadow trim to help your Garbage Bin come alive with character.
If you have any questions while building, you can always call our tech team who is happy to help. And if you are having trouble sourcing your own materials, then you can buy the Complete Pre Cut Kit from us. Buy the plans then realize this is too big of a project for you? If you are within 200 miles of us, we will build it for you here then transport it and offload it onto your prepped site. The possibilities are endless.
