If you want to make your Sugar Shack (or other building with a cupola) better insulated, opt for this 3-Season Functional cupola. This 4×8 cupola is constructed with a rough sawn hemlock frame and pine board and batten siding. To keep out the chill, vapor barrier and interior pine sheathing are also included. This cupola can be used as a Sugar Shack vent when the Solid Pine Vents or Hinged Windows option is chosen. Or make it purely decorative with just windows. When purchased with a building, it comes with a roof that matches the one chosen for your building, plus matching roof flashing.

For Sugar Shacks: Choose Solid Pine Vents or hinged transom windows to make this a functional cupola to vent steam from your sugar shack. The vents and hinged windows come with a manual closure system that allows you to open and close them with ease.

Windows: Placing windows in your integrated cupola allows for more light to enter your building. If you would like to open your windows from time to time (or use them for venting), hinged barn sash windows are a good choice. Otherwise, choose a fixed option, either insulated or uninsulated.

Pre-Cut Kit: If purchasing a cupola for any pre-cut kit design, your cupola will come ready to assemble. The bottom angles will be flat, for you to match to the roof line of your building. You will need to frame out a rough opening in the roof of your building to allow for the installation of an integrated cupola. The only building we offer where you will not need to frame the rough opening yourself is our Sugar Shack.
