The Weekender is double-duty storage done with style. It combines a tool shed and wood storage into one attractive and practical package. But you don’t need to limit your imagination with this one, the rough opening can function as more than just a firewood holder. This could make a shelter for animals in your pasture, with the attached shed holding food and supplies. Or turn this into a little farm stand with a storage area. This rugged shed is chock full of potential.
The Weekender comes in a whopping 12 different sizes, giving you ample opportunity to find the perfect one for you. The largest size, 12’x20′ can hold up to 4.7 cords of wood in the rough opening section and is a great option for those who keep a steady supply of firewood all year long. The wood bin section of this building comes equipped with a heavy duty 1” hemlock flooring system, allowing it to easily handle all the timber you can fit inside. For the models 6’ deep and greater, the shed portion has 5’ wide double doors, allowing for small equipment like lawnmowers to fit easily inside.

Customize
Each of our buildings comes with default options that match our specifications. However, if you want to personalize your purchase, we have made that process a breeze. As you go through each step, you’ll be able to customize your shed. Oodles of options exist to fashion your Weekender just the way you’d like. We offer many all-natural pine and cedar siding options. Roofing choices include corrugated metal, Western Red Cedar shingles or shakes, and architectural asphalt shingles. Or bring in extra sunshine with a Clear Poly roof.
• Strengthen – Our buildings are built to withstand harsh New England weather but offer options to increase its durability. This building defaults to joists and rafters placed at 24” on center, but you could upgrade to 16” on center to increase weight ratings. If your building site is placed in a damp area you might also consider opting for treated skids, or a completely treated floor system.
• Add-Ons – Steel Shed Anchors are wrapped around your skids, then the triangular head is hammered into the ground. They provide some additional stability, which is great if you are building in a windy area. Termite Shields are placed on your foundation’s concrete blocks or piers before you start building. They deter termites from crawling on your building.
