Sugar Shacks 12x
A traditional New England design, the sugar shack is still used today to boil maple syrup. This design comes standard as a non-working sugar shack. Meaning the cupola is strictly decorative. If you would like a functional sugar shack you can upgrade to a venting cupola which has opening sides where the steam escapes. In the springtime a large cloud of smoke and steam can be seen rising high above a sugar shack. Whether you intend to use this building as a working Sugar Shack, workshop, the Sugar Shack design is an asset to any landscape.View Specification Sheet (12×16)
Doll House 8x
This adorable 8×12 Dollhouse is a beautiful playhouse with an overall height of ten feet. It can be converted to a very attractive storage shed when the kids out grow it. Reminiscent of old Victorian houses, the steep rooflines and graceful dormer add a fresh style to boring backyard sheds. The two 2×2 opening windows fill the 96 square feet with lots of light making this quaint little cottage irresistible for the kid inside us all. The single door in the dormer is complemented with large double doors on the gable end allowing bulky items to fit in the shelter.View Specification Sheet (8×12)

This Cottage is one of my favorites. It is in response to the many who have asked for a multi purpose building that will keep both happy. It took a year and twelve revisions before this design was finalized. It makes very good use of the space while providing an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The 5’ double doors on the gable end are adequate for a lawn tractor, ATV, and/or firewood storage. With the addition of a workbench and cabinet space, the interior 8×10 can easily be converted into a potting area or workshop.View Specification Sheet (8×18)

Here at the Jamaica Cottage Shop, we take pride in the fact that our custom cabin kits are handmade in Vermont, from native rough sawn hemlock and pine lumber. All the parts are precut and color-coded for easy assembly. Most of our precut kits take approximately forty hours for two people to assemble. All of our kits are shipped with complete fastening hardware, metal roofing, and the step-by-step plans necessary for assembly. Because these custom cabin kits are geared for those with beginner carpentry skills, no special tools are required and technical support is provided via our toll-free support line.
Since our cabin kits at Jamaica Cottage Shop are made to order they can be customized to fit your needs. We offer insulation, plumbing and electrical packages; alternative choices for roofing, siding, flooring, windows, and doors; and other custom options such as built-in storage, decorative arches, cupolas, painting, staining, and flower boxes. Take a look at what we have to offer on our Options Pricing Page or give our design team a call at (802) 297-3760 for a quote.
