Exploring down the hiking trail brings you to public lands and the West River Trail. The trail is smooth and wide as it was once known as “36 miles of trouble”— an old narrow-gauge railroad bed that is now since gone. The trail extends from the Connecticut River in Brattleboro Vermont up the West River Valley to South Londonderry, Vermont. The cozy cabin is an epicenter to fun being only minutes from the Long Trail, Appalachian Trail, Green Mountain National Forest and several major ski mountains including Bromley, Magic, Stratton, Snow and Okemo.
